JBryant Bio
For JBryant, hip-hop was the first thing outside of his family that he grew to love. This love birthed early in JBryant’s youth from listening to countless hip-hop CD’s from his older brother’s collection. It wasn’t too long after his initial appreciation for this genre of music before it would lead him to begin making his own.

For the Ramseur native, writing was first, then quickly recording, production and most recently, performing.
After establishing an immediate fan base from his first live performance at a 2009 Sword Saturdays event in High Point, NC it was evident that the demand for more JBryant music was extremely high.
JBryant joined Mightier Than The Sword Records in 2009, shortly after the release of his first mixtape, “A Creative Mind At Work” (MTTS/Medley Rec.) and began working on his debut solo album, “No Music, No Life” (MTTS) which was released in the fall of 2010.
Catching the attention of Jon Jackson, aka Double J The Jenius, who produced much of the music on the Sony Pictures Television/Adult Swim cartoon, Boondocks, JBryant was recruited, landing his vocals on the season three premier singing a Will.i.am “Yes We Can” parody, entitled “Dick Riding Obama.”

This exposure helped solidify the wide array of talents the multi-genre artist, JBryant has to offer, from Hip Hop, Rhythm & Blues, Production, Comedy and Soul, he is truly a jack of all urban trades.
JBryant is currently working on several complete projects. One of which is with the Asheboro based super producers, 2 Man Army, including the single “Lights Out” feat Vocal K.I.D. which is already gaining lots of attention. JBryant is also working on a full collaborative album with label mate Medic, as well as his sophomore solo album all scheduled for a 2011 release under Mightier Than The Sword Records.
JBryant plans to take his music as far as he can take it by applying a “Go Hard Or Go Home” mentality, and the way things are looking for him, JBryant will not be going home anytime soon.
